At FreerollPoker.com, a unique characteristic is the system we created that allows our members to rate a particular online poker room on five different categories - poker room action, customer/technical support, software interface/usability, ease of game/fish, and bonus/promotions. A scale of 1-5 is used to rate each category, with 1 being worst and 5 as best. All these numbers are then added up and averaged to provide a complete rating for that online poker room. The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 (UIGEA), signed into law by President Bush on October 13, 2006, makes it illegal for online gambling sites to accept funds or wagers from the United States if the underlying gambling activity violates existing federal, state or tribal law. The law does not make the player liable in any way, but makes the site liable for accepting funds or wagers associated with illegal Internet gambling.
